We’re only two short weeks out from Halloween! Hope you’ve all gotten your costumes picked out and are putting the final touches on them – and with the spooky holiday on a weekend this year, we bet there’s going to be no shortage of events to check out!

Halloween Carnival
October 24th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Downtown Livermore
$5 Fun Pass Required
Aimed at families with children 5th grade and younger, Downtown Livermore hosts an old fashioned carnival filled with costume contests, games, entertainment and much more! While leashed pets are always welcomed downtown, please know that pets will not be allowed within the specific carnival area where the children’s activities will be held.

Halloween Beer Crawl
October 24th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Downtown Pleasanton
Tickets required
Downtown Pleasanton is opening their doors for a night of adult trick-or-treating! Participants will sample a variety of craft beer and tasty bites at locations on and around Main Street. To add to the festive Halloween spirit of this event, guests are encouraged to wear costumes.
**Note: The Pleasanton Downtown Association informed us that about 90% of participants will accommodate pets, so please always keep your pets leashed and check with the establishment before entering with your furry friends!

Smooches Pooches First Annual Dog Halloween Contest

Join Smoooches Pooches for a fun costume contest for pups! With four different categories to win, there’s something for everyone! And let’s not forget our feline friends – there’s a special kitty category for any cats who get dressed up!

Downtown Pleasanton (Scavenger hunt starts at Museum on Main at 603 Main Street.)
No tickets required.
Children 10 years and younger are invited to dress up and participate in a fun and festive scavenger hunt in Downtown Pleasanton. With more than a dozen businesses participating and giving out small goodies or treats, it’s sure to be a great morning activity for the whole family!
